Robotics course is designed for students to learn and explore the history, anatomy and behavior of robots. Robotics is the ultimate conjunction of science and technology, as well as human interference. They can make jobs easier and more efficient, help humans with everyday activities, and keep people safe. You will be able to do a set of simulated tasks and explore an in-house developed robot as you will learn the key components of robot design, how to control through a series of simulations.
Course outline:
- Safety and fundamentals
- Robot Anatomy
- Cybernetics and control
- Robot Behaviors
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Learn key concepts of robotic systems
- Determine how robotic automation is suitable for specific work tasks
- Identify basic robotic subsystems and recognize how these subsystems work together to influence the function of greater robotic systems
- Explore robotic systems and architecture
- Identify the basics of sensing and control in robotic applications
